Episode was the arrest of a driver in the west Thessaloniki. The 51 -year -old ignored police officers to stop for search, developed speed and in his attempt to escape, he made dangerous maneuvers with the car of, in breach of successive signage signs.
The 51 -year -old’s attempt to escape the police in Thessaloniki stopped when the driving car began to make smoke and had to stop it.
All this happened, on the streets of Evosmos, with 51 -year -olds – a man – a man referred to trial on Tuesday (29.07.2025). The Thessaloniki One -Member Criminal Court imposed a total sentence of 14 months in prison, the immediate execution of which he suspended the appeal.
He denied that he tried to escape, arguing that police officers “targeted” him because of his criminal past, while confessing that the car belongs to his son.
Taking, previously as a witness, a police officer involved in arrest said that the defendant was driving dangerously, entered the opposite stream at high speed and violated three STOP plates, endangering other drivers.
